Project STEMpath is a Project Paz-affiliated non-profit program dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved high school students in Mexico by providing them with access to full-ride post-secondary scholarships in STEM degrees.
WHAT IS STEM?
STEM consists of science, technology, engineering and math-related fields which collectively make up fast-growing industries of the future. STEM jobs are in high demand and necessary for competitive economies, but often suffer from a lack of qualified candidates.
OUR MISSION
Project STEMpath is designed to accelerate and support a virtuous cycle of STEM talent attraction, formation and retention in the Borderplex Region.

To be considered, you must be on track to graduate high school with an exceptional academic and extracurricular record.
If selected, you must remain enrolled full-time and maintain specific academic performance requirements to retain your scholarship.
All funds come from individual and corporate donations and are received and managed by the El Paso Community Foundation (EPCF), a 501c3 non-profit organization that serves as Project STEMpath's fiscal agent.

We are currently accepting donations for 2024-2025 academic year with UACJ.

Full-time tuition at our current partner university averages only approximately USD $250 per semester. You can become a STEMpath Sponsor by (i) committing to funding the entire college career for one or more students, one semester at a time, or (ii) making a one-time donation (of any amount) for a single semester.

All funds raised by Project STEMpath are directed to the El Paso Community Foundation (EPCF), a 501c3 non-profit organization that serves as Project STEMpath's fiscal agent. EPCF ensures funds are received by respective partner universities to fund tuition directly.
Project STEMpath will produce annual reports including financials as well as updates and information regarding scholar and program accomplishments.
